Elin Marchetti

Garden & Planting Designer

I design gardens for windy ridges and thin soil — planting that still reads well in February and holds its shape through a dry August.

Studio visits and site walks across the Pearl Ridge valley and the coastal townships.

Diary open for the spring planting window — taking four masterplans this season.

Selected work

What I take on

  1. Garden masterplans

A measured survey, levels and a light study, then a staged plan you can build in one season or across five.

  2. Planting design

Species chosen for exposure and soil depth, set out as a schedule your nursery or contractor can order straight from.

  3. Courtyard & terrace renewal

Small footprints handled properly: paving falls, edge details, screening and one or two specimen trees.

  4. Handover & aftercare

A pruning calendar, a watering year, and a walk-through with whoever keeps the garden going after me.
